I was wondering what would be better for my a64 system, which will mostly be used for gaming and music There are so many selections i could make with the setup. I could get quality 2x512mb sticks for around $220, or I could get 2 x 1gb sticks for a little more. Heres a couple items I'm looking at. This is my first build, and I am interested in learning to overclock as well. Thanks for the help.

If your just gaming and music, there's no need for 2 gigs. 1 gig should suffice, and both the rams you listed are good.

Right now, you won't need more than 1GB for music and games. And 512MB DIMMs will overclock better because of the lower density RAM chips used. In a year or two, you'll probably want 2GB, but but you could always add another pair of 512s.
