I have a website that when entered into my Mozilla bar plays an mp3 file w/in the Mozilla web window.
I can't for the life of me find the directory where Mozilla drops this information into...Can anyone help me? I know it's really simple...thanks

Have you tried looking in the C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator(user name)\Application Data\Mozilla\ directory?

Have you done a search for the .mp3 extension in your C: drive?

Of course...when I put the song back in my browser bar, to hear it again..it doesn't load up, so I know it's on my computer somewhere...

Are you sure it is a mp3 file? Could it also be streaming instead of downloaded onto your hard drive? I have never heard of any browser placing any file into a directory that the user doesn't specify.

I grab files in my browsers temp directory all the time for .wav .mp3 and other files I would like to keep.
I am unsure were Mozilla proper would store this temp directory. Firefox stores it in:
C:\Documents and Settings\~user name\Local Settings\Temp
Sounds like its streaming to me. If it is indeed just streaming it won't save anything to your harddrive.
