At price watch they have this Amd Athlon XP, is it the palomino made for single platforms?
Athlon XP 1800= 1530mhz
Athlon XP 1600= ????mhz
Athlon XP 1500= ????mhz


I serached AMD's site but they had nothing...

Xp is a desktop cpu. It is capable of smp but is not officially supported as an smp chip by amd.

The 1800 and 1700 ran awesome on the Tyan tiger-7 board as of today, will have some testing done saturday. I love this job!!

If I remember correctly:
XP 1500+ is 1.33GHz
XP 1600+ is 1.4GHz

SweeT...well now I know if i ever have to replace my Tbird i can get the XP..sweet...I am going to spring build a Duron system...was going to go with intel but thought i would have a house of Amd's :-D
