My OS is Win98 (plain, not SE)
hmm....i use a program called "Analog X"...i BELIEVE u can get it at www.download.com....if not just do a search in google
supports
Http
Https
socks4
socks4a
socks5
nntp
pop3
smtp
ftp
the problem is the programs you are using have to support proxy settings.....AIM/IE have settings....but a few don't (ICQ, etc)
the installation and setup should be pretty self-explainatory....this is prolly one of the easiest proxies to set up
you can just shut up the internet sharing in the networking...not a big fan :P
im gonna try using the firewall settings....hopefully it'll work
hehe..have to wait til i get home tho to try it (a few more hours!)
