My Battle field Adventure ... 2 56k warning

OK, i mean what a game, i missed the first serious, i don't no why either but so far i am loving this game, this was the type of game i was looking for, a saving private Ryan type game!

This game has won a fan in me i can't believe the engine quality it's very good looking Even as nice as HL2.

But seeing how I'm limited to some Medium settings and Some AA+AF
I would like to see the guys who have Nvidia 66/6800/ATI X800+ post full graphic shots to see what this game really looks like :D

Also tell me what you think of the game so far!

Those remind me of playing some cool air combat games on the playstation. I don't remember what they were called but they looked somewhat like that.

Plane is on the 32 person version of the map, need to play online for more than 16 I think.

I need to try turning on AA + AF, not fure how it will run on my comp with those on, but your screenies look so much better than what I'm running. However, I'm still having a blast with this game

What setting do you guys think I could run I try running high/no AA/no AF but its like my card stutters like crazy but then after a few minutes its like my video card has been warmed up and it runs fine... for most of the time.

I like the game so far but It seems like the sniper rifle lacks range (i.e. when Im in the village area I can't hit anyone onto of the roof area of the hotel)

Also has anyone gotten the mike thing to work cause I either don't know how or its not working.

Yep i can't wait for the rea; game to ocme out im so looking forward i think they may relase a patch for ti CArds!

That looks really good on your card. I have a 9600XT and I have everything on High at 1024x768 but I can't run any AA... :(

In a lot of demos for games they don't put in the highest res textures so the download isn't as big. I'm pretty sure they did it with bf1942.

Also note that not everyone has the latest and greatest systems like the ones they used to showcase the game originally so maybe that's why you are seeing graphics that don't look as good as what was shown off by EA.

Thats because i have my graphics set too medium, i couldn't take jaggies so i toned them down and added AA and AF i could run on high but hate jaggies :)

You're right. The demo doesn't have the ability for the highest graphics settings. Go into the video options and take a look at the pull-down menu for most of the options, such as "texture". Notice that there's a blank space at the bottom after "High". I'm assuming that "Ultra High" or something like it will go there in the full version. Not all the options have this, but a lot do - which leads me to believe that it was NOT a mistake and that there actually are extra options not included in the demo.

Well, I'm sure they will but you really don't need them.

Edit your shortcut to say "+szx 1280 +szy 1024" after the .exe path. This example will set your demo to run at 1280x1024. You can do this with just about any resolution, including widescreen ones.

I do have a rather interesting question regarding the last screenshot. I see you have used Renderer.drawfps 1 to get your FPS readings in red at the top left of the screen, but I have always wondered what the second number means? The first number is the current average, right?

I am totally disapointed in players wiht the chopper.

Ppl need to learn to use the tv missle.... its like a 1 shot tank kill.

But the graphics are a tad.. bright for my tastes.. need to be darker and dirtier..things are just too washed out

try your Gamma, and the tv missles arnt easy to use espically when you have a crappy pilot!
