What program clears memory to allow a good benchmark?

Any suggested programs that you would use to clear memory?

I think all that you really can do is startup your computer with only the bare minimun of programs running. I have never heard of a way to clear memory besides restarting the PC.

System Mechanic has an option to defrag the system memory. I've used it and came up with zero benefit to performance.

Try memturbo I think you can find a trial some where.

doesnt give you a benefit. The new stuff gets loaded into ram and then the old stuff gets moved to the swap file. Also those things may give you a 1 nanosecond speed up (which you wont notice...) So dont bother with those programs just bench after a startup
