Hello, I just ordered the Sapphire Radeon x800 xl ultimate 256mb card, running on pci express x16, and I was wondering what it safely can overclock too? I know it should be good since it does have that Zalman fan on it.

Unfortunately, nobody can give you advice on how well the card will clock. Simply put, each video card will overclock differently. I had the x800XL Ultimate for a while, but I did not hold on to it long enough to see how far it would go. Aside from this, you should just "give it a whirl" and see how well it fares for you.

It'll fid your max mem and core clocks, and test for you.

the best way to do it is a few MHz at a time on the core and memory. If you gradually go up on both you won't kill the card before you see artifacts or evidence that the card has reached it's limit.
