2GB of RAM on P5P800 Intel 865PE

i want to get 2GB of ram, will this stuff works fine on this mobo with my p4 550 3.4 lga?

It will work but may limit overclocking attempts.

Why do you need 2GB's? 1 GB is usually fine. Do you do photoshop or stuff like that?

More than 1GB in some newer games helps, but you don't play games.

You will need the 875/865 tweaker if your going to load the dimm slots of a 865 chipset.
