My old comp finishes 1 frame in the time my new one finishes 9!!!
I just can't wait and run the old comp all the time to get 1 frame in 20 mins! That sux... I think I'll have to give up the F@H on the old comp... :( Too bad.
What's your frame time on the older computer? I have a K6-2/500 folding that completes a frame in just over 15 minutes. That means it is able to complete more than 10 work units within the 3 day limit. Not great, but every unit helps.:D

Let the old girl run 24/7. Heck, I have an old P166 OC'd to 180 folding for me 24/7.
Every little fold counts, not just for the team, but for the folding cause.
Keep her folding...

Yea, I might run it all day long and give it the night to rest, cause my mom will definatly kill me if I'll leave the comp on 24/7 (She'll say that the electricity bills are too much...). The only problem is that I just can't get that thing connect to the internet through the modem on the new one, and that is pretty much sux as well...

Are you using internet connection sharing on the first rig? If so, I know it does have to use a specific IP address scheme to connect to the internet through the first machine.
Give us more details about your connection problems and we'll see if we can't get them sorted out.

To get a unit done in the 3 day time limit you need to have a time of about 43 mins/frame..... to give yourself a cushion I'd recommend going no slower than 30 mins/frame.
So the moral is get those old boxes folding, if you can justify the power bill!
(we don't need any more people lashing out about the power bill like Stanman did)
