GF2MX Oddity

I have a Creative Annihilator 2 MX PCI, 32Meg ddr. It's a strange card because it's 32 meg, ddr, and pci. But the strangest thing is when I got it, it comes with NO heatsink or anything, and I can bump the clock frequency sliders up to max (220/360) and my card runs fine, without any sort of heatsink. Doesn't this seem a little odd? I mean maybe they messed with the card or something.

It just rubbs me the wrong way. The card seems to have supernatural powers. lol.


Anyone else find this odd?

u mean no Heatsink even on the GPU at all? geez u did seems to get a natural powerful card, and i can only o/c my broz Asus to 235/205. damn i am jealous:eek:

Uhh, thanks, but it's only PCI, otherwise it would be a realy good card

I just did a 3dmark2001 test, 881 Marks. Eww

I have the AGP version and it also doesnt come with a heatsink. It is overclocked to 205/355. I didn't try to go any higher because it would blow up, but it runs fine.

oh yeah and my 3dmark2k1 score is 2630.

dunno how u o/c ur ram to 355 point, but mine broz score ish very close to 2800 in 3Dmark 2001 everything default.:D
