Quick question...

I was just wondering... I keep seeing all these people posting about Memtest86 test #5 and test #8... What's the difference, and where do I get them... Because all I've done is basicaly download the latest release of Memtest86 on www.memtest86.com

go to www.memtest.org and download the latest version then you hit c to enter the configuration menu, hit 2 to select the tests then hit 5 to enter a custom test number then hit 5 or 8 then enter twice and it will run. Test 8 is harder than test 5 and takes longer to do one pass.

You need to put it on a bootable floppy or CD. And then do as mentioned above.
