Internet not wroking right!

I am on verizon DSL and i just got finished building my new computer. For some reason I can not go to certain pages on the web. I can not check my inbox on hotmail or on hot-shot. I can not get to the downloads on the asus home page, and some other sites, but I can go here and i can go to most other sites. What might be causing this?

"can not get to" meaning? you get a 404 error? or access denied? or broken pictures? security error? content error? specifics will be nice :)

Security setting are on low and by cant get there I mean its starts to download the page and never finishes. It just keeps trying to download the page. I have already run Ad-Aware and that did nothing

check ur firewall ...if u have one see if its preventing any specific sites...

are u on a network?

Yes i am on a network, and i tired turning my firewall off and no help

Try turning the firewall on and going into the advanced settings and selecting all of the options so that you can do everything? :shrug:

Lower your MTU to 1492 or even 1452.

Maybe im a newb but whats MTU?
