In an effort to attract more users to our teams, i would like to ask you guys what other benchmarks you would like to see kept track of, if any? I suggested awhile back that i would like to see this forum turned into more of a benchmark section rather than just a 3D section. And although this is still being discussed, i would like to get some feedback from those that visit this section. We have already had some great success with SuperPI, pifast, Renderbench, ect, but what other things would you like to see? I was thinking some Sandra scores, and of course some PCMark04 with all the new CPU's coming out. If you have any feedback we would love to hear it, both good and bad. Although me and d]g[ts are new to the Captain role, we would love to get the recognition that OCF Members deserve as some of the best overclockers around!

Thanks,
Ben (Sucka)

We could work on SiSoftware Sandra 2005, a lot of people do it. Heres my thread on Memory benchmarks, of course belonging to the A64s ;). http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=368631

I personally wonder if we could add a benchmarking subsection. Its great to add other benchmarks but lets not forget that we are primarily here to bench 3dmark.

Yeah, that's what i would like to see happen. You always see benchmarks circulating, but never a central place to compare them. I like having the 3D Team forum, but i would either like to see like you said the sub-forum, or the forum renamed to suggest more than just 3D.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, keep them coming.

I agree I think we should have a SiSoft Sandra thread also.

What about specviewperf? That way both Linux and Windows users can use a benchmark that seems to be close to equal across the two platforms.

SysTool (http://www.techpowerup.com/systool/)
Has a multithreaded / singlethreaded PI benchmark in one utility.

PCMark 04/05.

Everest Home edition memory benchmarks.

Cinebench2003 (do we have that one already?)

HERE (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=264318&page=1&pp=30) is an "old" benchmark thread that could use an update ;)

everybody's favorite...P95 (but its the benchmark NOT the stress test)
the only real problem with this is all the math (finding the average of 11 times: xxx.xxx)

Intel fans should LOVE this one....Intel BLOWS AMD away according to this test

Good suggestions guys. We'll see what we can get started.

Yeah Joe, already been talking about restarting that thread over here.

Thanks.
