98/ME is the fastest, followed by 2000, then Linux. 2.0 client should narrow the large gap between Win and Linux clients. I'm running on 2000.

I run on Win2k, Linux, Win98 and WinME.

On my Linux machine, which happens to be our Dual CPU server it is running using the Windows client via wine. It is faster than the native Linux client. Reason being is the compiler they used.

Hopefully 2.0 will improve the speed on the win2k/winxp and linux compared to win98. It would be nice for those dual cpu systems.
