Anyone here have the 630?

If so, how does it oc? What have you gotten it too on air. I'm considering getting one and want it know if it would be way better to go with a 640 which has the 16x multipler.

I do, haven't oced it though, but I have seen many reports of them hitting 4ghz on air. The entire 6x0 series line seems to hit 4ghz easy

yep my 640 is running 24/7 at 4Ghz

and the board aint helping so im sure with a nicer board i could push it farther

I'm getting ready to overclock this weekend. This is my first overclock on a relatively new proc, but I gotta do it. My 6800gt 3DMark05 scores are too low for what I think I should be getting (around 4500 if memory serves me right).

The maximum I could get out of it is 3.9Ghz.

I have a 640 and a 630.the 630 will run to 280fsb,4.2G dual prime stable at 1.6V with throttle watch showing 11% throttle but runs cooler for games.The 640 will run 275fsb,4.4G dual prime stable at 1.7V and 15% throttle but again it does not get that hot gamming. Both cpus will run UT2004 for hours, I find it will crash at settings prime and superpi dont.
