Switching a HDD to primary

i currently have 2 HDD in my computer and i was wondering how i can get the second one to become a primary slave instead of a secondary slave.

can anybody help???

What do you mean by a primary slave? Do you mean that you want the drive that is now the slave to become the master drive?

BTW, this really ought to be in the storage forum, and I imagine a moderator will come along and move it shortly. No harm done, though.
