yea what the clock generator thing on the motherboard. what does it do and where can i see a picture of it so i know how it looks like?

it will be a small black chip on your MB, most are small about the size of a icon in your taskbar, maybe just a hair bigger. they handle your FSB speeds. On my MB my manual had a pic on where to find it, you may go to the website from the maker of your MB and see if there is something there, on my MB its in the middle close to the top just right of my HSF.

try this, AS I am real new to this, I am not sure how reliable this is. Worked real well for me though. :)

On my CUSL2 it is a rectangular chip goin from top to bottom (so the shorter side is left to right) in the uppreright corner of the board. I but a sliced corner of a heatsink on it because tose babies get warm.

In my experiance I have always found the generator near or around the PCI slot area. although that description leaves alot of area to look at hehe. try looking right next to your PCI slots. Hope this helps.
