i am currently using this motherboard (rev 2.0) http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Motherboard/Products/Products_GA-K8VT800 (Rev 2.x).htm

i had rev 1 before i got the rev 2 and with rev 1 i had issues using 2 sticks of 512mb pc3200 ram. the computer simply wouldnt boot. now with rev 2, i am currently using 1gb (512x2) of pc2100 ram which is running fine, but i was wondering if i could use 512x2 of pc3200 ram on this board without ne issues.

ne one using this board with 2x pc3200 ram?

i had the same problem with a gigabyte board and my 754-64-3200 you should be able to find an up date for it because the ram is not compatible and i know that the AMD 64s are picky on ram i went through 2 512 sticks of pny cheep ram thinking the ram was no good out of the box i swapped them to Kingston hyperx and have had no problems and i put the pny in a p4 PC that i have and it runs fine.
