View Full Version : Temp Raise - FSB/Multi vs Core

Weird...is it just me....but anyways, when I raise the FSb and multi, the temps are pretty much the same...perhaps one or two degrees difference. You raise the Voltage and it goes up alot (in my case, I amxed it out at 1.85 and it shot up maybe 6 degrees)

Can someone explain this? Well...if this is true, and your cpu with it's stock h/f is running at mid 40s, it might even be safe to up the FSB without worrying about higher heat levels??......

The reason why this happens is because you are sending more volts to the core so that mean there is more energy in there and we all know what happens when ypu run way too much juice through a wire the more volts going through the wire the higher the temps will get till you burn the wire up that is why if you bump too much Vcore you can toast you cpu.
