Heyall, been playing this classic, 2 questions since it seems most quake III players are too stuck up to help or the text scrolls to fast for me to see.


k, how do i

1. use "hook"
2. unfreeze people i freeze tag?

i look on google but cant seem to find the right keys :(

goto the console "~"
type "bind X +hook"

never played freeze tag so i cant help you with that one

You can only unfreeze your tream m8s by running up to them and just touch them or press enter, the hook you have to bind it your self cuz its a mod so its not in the game.

found place - to unfreeze stand beside the person for 3 seconds :D , thanks for the hook info :D

To unfreeze you stand next to the person for 3 seconds or so, or shoot them into the lava.
The hook is /bind m +button5
where m is any key

also if you miss the text, just hit ~ and you can use pgup and pgdn to read it.

I play freeze tag almost every night, its great.

Play some TDM/CTF/1vs1 or Clanarena. That's where the real men are :cool:
Anyway best game ever! Though quakeworld is very good as well \o/

i play CTF usually, but i stink on thosse gravirty wide open platform's in space maps :( - i am more of an indoor close fragg'n guy.

While we are on the subject of quake and CTF. Has any one seen any populated Q2 CTF servers lately? I looked a few weeks ago and got a big shock when gamespy only found a dozen or so Q2 servers that where even populated, none of which where CTF servers.

I know exactly what your talking about, Q2 CTF and DM was the most fun I've ever had gaming. Too bad nobody really plays it anymore.

CTF there is 2 serevr that only have about 18 players in it, it is the largest server i can find.

i might see if i can host a quake server off my uncles cable connection in canada - maybe we can get our own CTF server going :D

On good q3 ctf servers there aren't any spacemaps. In holland you have a nice one XS4ALL CTF server. And well the best experience playing online is just to participate in a clan and play some leagues. As for qii, I think a lot of them went to UT, cause they disliked Qiii (I dislike Qii ;) ).
Anyway, if any of you want to duel me in q3, drop me a line...I'll show you a thing or two :cool: ;).
