What is the best heatsink and fan that can be bought at the moment? Im looking for performence and noise levels are not a problem. I've heard good things about the Alpha PEP66 w/delta (38cfm) and also the Swiftech 462-A w/delta (68cfm). Whats everyone elses opinion?
Thanx

SWIFTECH ALL THE WAY, looks cooler also. you can get that fan, or you could get just the plain heatsink and buy either a 92-80mm adapter, or a 120 to 80mm adapter, and put like a 130cfm fan on it. thatd be B.A.D.A.S.S.

There's a new BiTech (Japanese) HSF in the neighborhood that is said to be a real bully, it's suppose to kick every other HSF's behind, it is kinda cool actually but might be rather expensive. (Around 100 bucks)
Here's a link that show's how it works, it's got liquid inside, very nice actually. It's like a mini watercooling system without the mess.

Enjoy....
ps...oh yeah, just to put this in perspective, it totally smokes the SK6 which used to be the best around till this week.
that is a pretty good functioning and looking fan.:)
Well the Currently the swiftech witha high end delta is the best but that new japanese cooler looks kind of cool.. ill need to see more test and maybe try one out myself. However the price that you spend on these fans you can get a cheap water kit for a little more and get better results.. I guess it depends on your situation.

A very good solution for those who don't want water in their case.
