Slow internet

My buddies connection is slow on his pc " Will fined out name and model later for ya" Now if he connects his other pcs they act fine on the web but not his
its home built and I belive he is using a nec card not the built in one.

His mobo is an msi but I will have to get back to ya on anything else.

Spy ware or a worm mabey ? I duno but I bet you kind peeps know !!!

the NEC might be set to a certain speed rather than an auto speed where it'll detect the speed of the internet and/or network traffic.

also maybe a device conflict could very well be a possibility.....

I would check the easy/obvious first - as in a software problem (spyware/viruses/trojans) on the computer in question.
