View Full Version : 1.2 O/C 1.4 idles at 30C!!!!
I just updated my bios to 4a and I'm gettin my chip up to 1.4 and still idleing at 30C and loading up at 35C. I love this thing.
I'm waiting for my new ram "pc 150" so I can push it alot higher.
maybe 1.5 or 1.6.
35 load nice what are room temps?
How big are these fans you keep talking about , how much do they cost and where can I get them?
By the way those are great temps!!!

I'm using the Taisol with a delta 38.
I'm not real sure what my room temps are but my mother board temp is around 22-24 and case is about 23C
Rotron (http://www.bgmicro.com)
these rotrons are awesome, but I have to warn all the people worried about sound "these are not for you!!!"
When these bad boyz fire up they sound like a jet, and I don't even remember that I have a delta 38.
but I love the sound so give it a shot, you can't loose for $8.95 and getting 235CFM

-ps-
this is not a flame just youre imagination :P lol
I remeber reading some dumb article where they took off the HS of a P4 and it still ran.....thats why I said they ran cooler.
I wish I could get my 1.2 to run at 1.4
I'm lucky to get it to run at 1.33:(
Which board do you have?
Abit KT7A with the 4a bios has 1400 on it as one of the defaults, I'm just using that right now. I'll be pushing for more, I want 1.55 or 1.6. With my cooling I know I can handle it if I can just get there:)
oops I just looked at your sig,
when you go to your cpu speed setting, just scroll down till you see 1400...its awesome

It's my chip it won't do it. My board even has a volage mod and I try it at 2.05 volts:(
have you tried different things in your bios?
When I first got my system runnin I couldn't push past 1300.
I forget what its called but its on the same bios page as your memory settings. Near the bottom...I think its the second from the bottom, you have to enable it.
Sorry I cant think of what its called right now though:)

I cant run it with no HS puff it goes more then 100oC ween i take it off so i think not like you sayed its its a dumb artical ;P lol
Like I said before it's the chip, My old 1000 TBird ran at 1520 (160x9.5) but thanks to the socket lug comming off it was killed in under 5 seconds.
This 1.2 won't even post at 1350 at 2.05 volts but runs great at 1333 at 1.80 volts I have tried everything
I'll just have to save my money and get another chip someday.
