if you don't have a T&L card then forget 3dmark 2k and 2k1...they're just out there to inflate the GF owners' egos anyway :)

whats a t&l card??...3dmark2001 asks something like that...a D3D hardware T&L or a D3D software T&L...which one do i pick??
T&L is built into the video card, if you have it. If your card does have a T&L unit, choose Hardware T&L. If it doesn't pick software T&L.
Geforce2 and up as well as (I believe) all Radeons have a T&L unit.
Hey, I just typed "T&L" 6 times, is that a record?:D:D

Sounds like a voodoo card if quake plays smooth and you only get that score.

VOODOO it's gotta be,......*stands up* ok no laughing....
Im still running my trusty 16mb Voodoo Banshee. 3dMark2001 scores 956.....but Unreal Tourny runs fine. Now back on 3dMark2000 where I can put the resolution where my card likes it. @ 800x600 my score is 3214. Granted I have it overvolted and overclocked, but it still rips through the games, although true hardcore benchmarks still put it to shame at times, but thats mainly due to its massive 16mb or ram...LOL..Im in the process of doing some massive O/C to this card. Well as massive as massive can be....default gpu mhz 100, mem 100.
currently at gpu120/mem 118. 3.6volts"defualt". Gotta do some heatsink action and gonna bump the card to 3.9volts. For short test durations, at 3.9volts I can run at 131gpu/124mem.
Crossing my fingers....if i fry it then i guess ill have to break down and fork the money out on a GF3.

It kinda depends on your video card, cpu and memory. If you have a 500MHz Celeron and a 16MB video card that is a good score.
My highest score for 3DMark 2000 is 8903, which is a decent score for a Geforce 2, but a crappy score for a Geforce 3:)

Booyah! I had a TNT 2 M64, cheap as hell, and the 32 Megs of ram doesn't give you crap! I love my GeForce 3, though, and yes, I love to see my 3DMark2001 score :D
When I was running my Athlon @ 1602 and my GF3 @ 215/515 I hit 7090! With my current system I get in the mid 4000s...
