Well I just get all into this video editing stuffs.. I want to know what is the BEST video format? In terms of quality vs. size ratio..AVI? Also what is the best video converter or what video converter do you use? I need a video editor that is very easy to use like..putting a bunch of "cut-off" clip together and make a long 1 clip..stuffs like that..Any help would be apperciated..I would love to have a software that can do all these..convert..edit..stuffs..you know and easy to use :)

p.s. a side questoin..anyone use mp3 tag manager? is there a very good and easy of use mp3 tag mangaer/editor out there? I don't need to to find online tag just to manage myself.

I think that AVI with the divx codec is generally meant to be best video format in terms of quality : file size. I don't know a great deal about video editing myself.

Oh and here is an MP3 tag manager: http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/ID3-TagIT/id3tagit.html

I still like good old TMPGENC for video stuff, SonicDVD is easier to use though. I know I'm going to get yelled at for this but I REALLY like iTunes for my organizer and tag editor.

Myself, I prefer GKnot, because it supports DivX, Xvid, VCD and SVCD conversion all in one tool.

Use xvid for the final movie, its the best out there imo.
As for a nice program to put clips together, using videomach/virtual dub it does the job. I just advice you to keep everything uncompressed until the final movie. It'll do the quality justice though you would need a lot of hd space and ram.
