ET has been found! Now what?

I don't know about the rest of the people participating in SETI@Home but part of the thrill for me is to go down in history as a "co-finder" of ET. When the time comes and I get to be famous I would like to do the usual things such as meet the President/visit the WhiteHouse, tour one or more cool NASA facilities have some cool interviews etc. Limousines and champagne all around!

If you are the lucky one(s) what would you like to actually get out of the whole media frenzy that would follow? :)

Maybe the guys at SETI would buy me an Epox 8K7A mobo and a 1.4GHz Athlon with all the trimmings..........

Mabey I could convince NASA to let me on ISS.... That would be nice.... I guess I would have to settle with being a discoverer of an alien civilization :)

Actually, I think SETI would just get a WHOLE lot more popular. If they DID find ET, then I'm sure they would continue looking, get more funding, TONS more people (and even more computers), ect....

Well if that does happen and they dont want to look for ET anymore then maby we could keep track of Near Earth Astroids.
