F@H Crashes Computer

I became a member yesterday and insatalled F@H v. 1.34 on my comp (running WinME). The screen saver runs fine, but when I let it run for a while and then move the mouse to get back to windows, either the screen goes goofy or comp freezes.

I have all the latest and greatest drivers and my hardware is in my sig. What is the problem? I ended up uninstalling the d@mn thing. Haven't had stability problems with anything until now. Any suggestions?

loose the screen saver and have the monitor shut down in about 20 mins or so

Uninstall the screensaver completely. It doesn't give you credit for what you do unless you manually edit the client.cfg file. It's just buggy anyway. There is a console version that is available on the same page as the screensaver version, just scroll down a little. It runs better. Also there is a program called Electron Microscope that will give you more control of the client as well as providing your stats for you so you know how much work you've turned in. Rock: my power setting are "alway on" with nothing shutting down at any time (I hate waiting for things to start up). So that can't be the problem. But thanks for the suggestion.

The client program should work well for you. Also, definitely use EM. It works great and also allows you to minimize it to the tray to keep your desktop clean.
