Cool :) Yes that's a gun - don't freak. I carry a weapon for self defense when I'm in bear country on photo shoots. That was on Kodiak island. Wildlife photography is a hobby, and it can be dangerous.

LOL - it's a Freedom Arms .454 casull - almost 3X more power than a .44 magnum if that puts it in perspective. It's a pain to lug around, but you don't take chances in places like that. I don't hunt, but I would defend myself if it came to that. Hopefully I never have to use it though - I can't stand the recoil :) It's not a pleasant little target gun - but it is cool if you want to impress people by making concrete cinder blocks literally explode :D
