Is it possible for me to set my computer up with two harddrives and for each of those hardrives to have a different OS?
I would like to have my master run Win 2000 and the slave run Win 98.
That way I could use my wecam and games on the 98 and all other software on the 2000.

Im not quite sure if its possible any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Yea that is very easy to set up as well... The first thing you want to do is figure out which HDD you want 98 on... Install it on that HDD... do all the schtuff you need too... once done and ready to install 2k just tell it you want to install it on the other HDD... and wham bamm thank yea maam.. that simple... just make sure that you install 2k 2nd and that you put it on the other hdd... simple and done... luck to yeas...

when i did that i had win ME on a 6 gig HD and when i went to install win2k on my 30 gig it would always install to the 6 gig, would never work right, i talked to a computer tech at the place i worked at at the time and he told me when you install a new os it automatically installs the system files to the master HD so i had to physically take out the 6 gig with ME on it , put in my 30 gig as a master use some wierd diskette and dos to make it the primary hd and then install win2k, worked great too, if i want win 98 i take the 6 gig out of my sis comp and boot up, if i want win2k i just turn on the comp.

Isn't this supposed to be in the OS section?

probably should be...

all you have to do to make the system boot to the master or slave is tell it which one you want in the BIOS. Or you could get a small program that has you tell it what u want each time you boot up (but i'd prefer the former myself)

When you install 2k just make sure you set it so that you can choose the partition that you install it on. That should guarantee that you install it to the right paritition. Doing 2k on FAT32 would probably be best for you so that you can share your files between OSes. :)
