My PSU is this:

I simply don't know. Numbers don't mean anything in this case. I have no experience with that supply, and know of no way to determine if it is junk or not. I would counsel considering it suspect until proven otherwise.
I think it may struggle a little bit. Especially if you will be using a 7800. I hear they are very power hungry.
I recommend you get a new PSU. Above 500W would be completely safe.
This is really driving me nuts... no one seems to know. I have even tried most of the manufactures and they dont want to give an answer... only speculate that everyone on forums are saying they are power hungry.
I guess I will have to keep asking about... or pay out over £100 for a new PSU when my one is only 3 months old :(
That's one problem with not knowing what you are buying when you buy it. You still don't know, and it drastically increases the chances that you waste your money at purchase-time. Not exactly the position to make buying decisions from, unless you have bountiful cash. Hopefully it's clear at this point that this sort of investigation need be done before the purchasing decision is made.
Yeah, it sure does, but I find it strange how there is very little information on this anywhere on the net and what there is isn't really definitive.
Even BFG couldn't give me a straight answer.
One chap on BFG support said the card draws 350w, which would mean that to do 2 cards in SLi you would need 700w + whatever the MoBo etc. takes (about 300w usually!?!) so that's crap as no one makes a 1000 watt PSU.
Yet.
Grrrr.

Everyone should honestly boycott the next generation of cards...the power consumption is getting ridiculous.
Of course, no one will actually do it, since most people here are AOLSpeak 14 year old "overclokc counterstrike D00d!!"s but really, at this rate, you're gonna start to really pay for it with your electric bill, guys.
My FX5900 draws more power than does the 6800, and I don't think the 7800GTX draws appreciable more than does the 6800. You're a little late to be boycotting.

No. That is just simply not true.
A single card with a mid range Athlon 64 system should draw up to 350/400Watt maximum. SLI would need 450-500W to run smoothly. Obviously it's better to have more power especially if you are overclocking and a strong 12v rail is needed but I see no reason why that PSU couldn't handle a DFI, Venice and a single 7800 as they can't use much more power than the 6800 if any more at all due to honed manufacturing processes etc.
That makes sense, I guess I will have to have a look and see... though I'm tempted to wait for 2 months now till
a) Initial feeding frenzy dries up
b) Price drops a shade
c) ATI show off their Tofu (all right, Fudo!) card.
What I dont get is why you are even question the chance of your no name PSU even standing a chance against the 7800, when it costs so effin much... Why not just go out and get the best PSU you can buy?! I would assume you have the money. :-/

Errr, Akasa, No Name??? Not where I come from. Sure they may not be the number one choice for hardcore overclockers but they are fairly innovative and bring stuff out ahead of the curve... They started doing +400 watt PSUs way ahead of most companies, here in the UK at least.
My PSU in question is fairly new, only about 3 months old, I paid a fair ammount for it and I am really happy with it.
Firstly, it would seem a shame to dump it to get a, say, 500 watt PSU... which is a whole 40 watt bigger (less that 10%). And lastly, no, I don't really have the money to splash out on a PSU unless I HAVE TO. I am in the process of buying my 1st house - though I need to build a new main PC and it seems a waste to build something that will be completely out of date in under a year.
I bought a 9800 pro under a year ago (for £100) and already its so out of date that its getting 1fps in Battlefield 2. So, £100 per graphics card that wont last or £400 on one that will not only last but kick some major arse while new... I know what my money is on.

maybe you can combine to cheap power supplys

It should... these are OEM Enhance, which I haven't really heard anything negative about. However, I have no experience with Enhance. Overclocking may vary, but I would say give it a try and see what happens.

Yeah, not a bad idea, have had a look at this and will keep looking.
Also, yeah, have heard good things about that mobo so want to give it a shot. Cheers.
Enhance is decent, like OKW said it may limit the OC, though. It shouldn't turn the machine into a smoking ruin.

If the supply is indeed Enhance, it's probably pretty decent, but what most people do in the UK has little bearing on the issue, to be completely honest.
