For all of you who wasted money on a Super Orb (like me)

I put the inner fan in a Blue Orb. A perfect fit, if a bit too high. A perfect finger chopper also... It's blowing 28.5 cfm at my Pro chip now... Gained me at least 5 mhz compared with the original fan. Haven't tried higher yet.

Has anyone come up with this yet or am I the first? (I know I'm not the only one who was stupid enough to use a S. orb on my Athlon 1200...)

it's a good idea, here in Italy we've this BlueOrb with improved fan.

Yeah, I seen this done about 2 months ago. I had a mini orb an now I pulled the 2 fans out to use the bottom one for that. I just have to get a blorb now. :)

btw, I have the base as a candle holder now. :D

LOL... What a great use!!! Just be careful not to burn yourself if the flames get too low... Even tho they suck for cooling, they still transfer heat.
