if you want a heatercore:
step 1 - search this forum
step 2 - find the car your desired heatercore comes from
step 3 - head to local auto parts store and buy it
step 4 - hack the excess copper tubing off

In that case I suggest you repeat step 1, now the one i have heard the most is the Bonneville (1986 with a/c). So please repeat step 1 which will provide you with some choices for step 2.
Most commonly used are the 2-302 and the 2-199.
Both are dual 120mm HC. The 2-302 is a bit larger. Check weapons sticky on how to mod a HC for dimesnions, and various what nots on those cores.

what do you guys think?

its not long enough, it will not fit 2 120mm fans. I recommend you cancel your bid and find a fedco 2-302 to bid on or at least a longer heatercore (10-12 inches long).

I can't provide a link because their site is set up badly. However just go there and ask for a fedco 2-302 heatercore and they should have it. Its from a 1977 Pontiac Bonneville (with a/c) if I'm not mistaken. Read this thread please for how to mod them: http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=304440

You need 77 Pontiac Bonneville Heatercore, the one with A/C is better and bigger, but it requires modification(taking out the pipes, adding barbs). The one without A/C is smaller and you just have to sand and cut the original pipes. I'm pretty sure thats right. Look at weapon's sticky for all the details.
Actually both cores can be easily modded to use 1/2" Id tubing bu cutting the tubes, and simply sanding them down. Stiffer tubing is a bit of a PITA to work over the copper tubes, but softer tubing goes on easy.
Refer to Waepons sticky on HC modding http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=304440
Lot more detail in there.
