I may be a little paranoid but does this not seam a little strange?

No. Once you've installed it, turn it back on. The anti-virus program causes problems for the installer........

Just about every program under the sun asks you to turn off your virus scan before installation.

and if they don't and you are getting errors after installing a program that is one of the problems reinstall the program w/ antivirus software turned off.

When 3 seniors tell you the same thing, it's almost garunteed to be right...And I'll make it 4, lol, many programs tell you to turn it off because some antivirus software among other things may get touchy because of the registry changes etc in the software...Nvidia isnt about to start passing out viruli in their installer, imagine the lawsuit...lol
Sorry for pretty much wasting bandwidth but I thought a clearer explination was in order...and I'm thrilled to be a member of the newest group of seniors added to the forum :)
