View Full Version : Would burning in help me get 133 FSB?

Well 1100Mhz on my duron is fast and good enough but it just makes me crazy to know that it could be faster. So if I burn in my cpu for like 24 hours would that help?

All I can say is, TRY IT. I won´t do any harm if your CPU is cooled well. You could use the Sandra Burn in agent with CPU bench loop or a Program like Prime 95 or Folding@home which constantly keeps your CPU at 100% load.

Depends what chipset is on your mobo. Your chip should be able to do FSB133, mine is. However if your chipset can't do it, burning it in won't hep much I'm afraid
