im trying to o/c my duron 750 and bought a good h/f and good thermal paste and not worrying about cooling. BUT my mobo doesnt seem to want me to . I cant change my voltage in bios and there are no jumpers for cpu speed or multipliers. i got a sis something with onboard video/audio/ethernet and wanna know if its possible to still o/c my cpu. im fairly new and dont know what to do from here

Well I think you have a ECS K7S5A mobo with the SiS735 chipset. This mobo is very fast, however this is not a o/c mobo. I know there is a o/c BIOS somewhere but I also don't know where to find it. :( Can someone plz give me the url :)

yeah i think thats what i have, and i have another question... the mobo supports up to 1.3ghz but i think it said 1.3athlon and 800duron.. would i be able to o/c my duron above 800 considering it still supports a speed of 1.3ghz?

You can change the CPU multiplier by connecting the according bridges, you should be able to find a chart in the beginners overclocking guides. Also you can bump your core voltage to a steady 1.888V by connecting the L7 bridge. Make sure your cooling is good before you do this though.

alright so excuse the n00bness about the spew forth but... i connected the L1 bridges on my cpu ... so your saying by taking my cpu out again and connecting my L7 bridges itll raise my core voltage? and my cooling is a volcano 6 h/f which brought my idle from 107f to 81f.. and i can always just add a case fan
