I need some recommendations on a nice s478 mobo that works with a mobile P4. i know some mobo's only default to the lower multis of the processor so I'd like something that would allow me to adjust it. only other requirement is that its a good overclocking board.

get the IS7 board from abit ...

its a pretty good overclocking board for the 865 chipset

if you wanna spend 15 bucks more, get Ic-7 motherboard ..

all are abit ..

Pretty much any decent Abit, ASUS, DFI O/C friendly motherboard will allow you to adjust the multiplier.

But the IC7 Max II/III is a really good board, depending on how this CPU is going to be used. It might not be worth the extra money for you.

ic7-g is good. but get an asus p4c800 variant. onboard sound on the ic7-g is crap, other than that it is fine.

what chipset do the mobile's need?
