CLC/SETISpy help....

Finished a WU last night - how does the CLC connect to the net to transmit and receive new data? Set it up exactly to Kris's instructions...........

Asuming you have internet connection, the CLC will connect on it's own and automatically transfer a WU. Did you have any problems transferring, or do you want to know more technical background on the proces?

I installed CLC last night, and left it running as I slept, finished a WU. I connected to the net this morning for an hour, but there was no sign of activity from SETI uploading or downloading, and no manual way to do it.......that I could see.

In case you left the client running: when it can't connect it will probe every hour. Manual way to probe again is to use in seti spy the button: (re)start client. Then it will transmit if internet is available.

So see what's happening, remove the mark at 'hide client', so you can see what it says.

In Driver you can also tell it to "stop transmit" then "transmit"...the middle button there at the top right. :)
