Geforce to Quadro

Hi

does anybody know where to find an article on how to change your Geforce card in to a quadro? has anybody tried it?

If not then I am going to need a good twin view graphics cards. I am considering:

ATI Radeon 8500 with Dual Display
GeForce 2 MX DH Pro

and does anybody know id the Leadtek GeForce 3 TD has twin View?

The geforce to quadro hack can be found on http://www.tweakhardware.com and it is something I have done myself and to be honest the improvement is minimal and probably a matter of opinion rather that something that can be benchmarked, I did notice a small FPS increase in Q3A but overall the main advantage shown is in photoshop work.

I did the Quadro hack to my GTS, and noticed nothing at all. Q3 FPS actually went down a tiny bit, but that's all. Barely noticeable. I couldn't see anything new in Photoshop either, but i wasn't sure what to look for so I could have missed it. Wasn't earth-shattering either way. Does show upo in Devoce Manager sa a whole new card though!:D

Personally I'd say do it, just so you can say" Hey look what I did!" But it's not gonna turn a card into a lean mean 2d CAD/CAM machine. For that, check out the Oxygen (http://www.3dlabs.com) line of cards, I have a GVX1-pro on the way for a freind of mine. Pricey, but twinview and all the goodies!!
