Does the Athlon XP support PC-2700???

theoretically, there is no such thing as pc2700 .. its just ram rated to run 166fsb (is that right?) but YOUR COMPONENTS (pci bus, agp, power supply, motherboard, ect) are your most deciding factor.

i had some pc2400 ram that couldnt' run 150fsb in my system because of ddr bank 1 .. took it out and i hit 150+ right away.

AthlonXP will work with PC2100 and higher. Of course if you don't plan to overclock then anything higher then PC2100 is wasted.
