DVI adapters on a dell 9300

Ok so I have a 9300 with 6800Go video card

I wanted to plug some of my DVI adapters in for example my DVI->COmponant adapter but than I noticed something The DVI port is missing the 4 holes that allow you to plug an adapter of any type into the DVI port

Anyone have a solution to this?

Couldn't you use a VGA to component cable?

I suppose, but first off that costs another $25 and doesnt solve the issue of what if I want to run dual VGA monitors
