m8 they have no stock, no-one does yet, not even ATI store.......

Oh people have stock already, since monday. I ordered mine from dell and estimated ship time was yesterday but because of the overwhelming orders it got changed to an estimated time of the 29th. Some people are getting theirs today I am sure, but I wont see mine for a couple weeks still :(

By the time you get your radeon 8500 i will be buying my radeon 8500 for less than 200 bucks.

You are getting screwed i would cancel

got a phone cal from Dell, very surprise, and was to that my order which was suppose to be ship today would not ship till Oct 30th. Maybe this is good as the benchmark should be coming out soon. If it looks like geforce3 is better, this will give me some time to decide

I seriously doubt it. Prices won't drop that much within 3 weeks. Especially for the retail card. I would gladly wait 3 weeks for a 50.00 discount.

Those who made the 8500 purchase from Dell for 213.00 got a great deal (myself included). We'll see if by the end of the month you can find the card anywhere for anywhere near the price that Dell was selling them for.
