I have a 1.2 amd t bird. What would you recommand as a fan/heatsink. I want it to be safe, so i would have no worries on crushing/cracking the cpu core. Not going to be used to OC, just want it to run at 1.2 with normal temp. snap on? slid on?

-thanks

I don't mean brand.. I'm talking about fan TYPE... the way the fan mounts onto the cpu and socket. Snap-ons, slide ons and any other types.

there is only a few ways to moung t a heat sink, use the 2 things with normal mobos or some amd ones have 4 holes which you screw the heatsink into, to portech you cpu you could use a shim which goes around the core making it all the same hight
