Help! with win2k!

Im running a duron 750 with 256megs of pc 133 ram.
i use win2k, and ever so often the machine will just randomly freeze, wtih no response from the mouse or keyboard. THere is no warning associated with it. i also run win 98 and don't have this probelm. could it be the ram? i also have trouble with it when i turn it on. it won't give me any video feed and i have to do a hard power down. could these thing be related.

have you installed SP2?
is your cpu/mobo/ram overclocked??

they could be related in that the commonality could be IRQ sharing and the difference between how 2k and 98 handles intrupts, try disabling your ser ports(if you dont use them) in your bios and see if this helps, just a stab but i would look at the IRQ/resources for all
