here is what im running now.

Intel P4 3.2 Extreme Edition
1gig OCZ PC4000 Gold Ram
DFI LAN Party Pro 875P Rev. B
ATI X800 Pro
Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum
Dual Heatercore Rad
Dual Floppy Bay Res
TDX CPU Block
DD-D5 Pump

in about how long should I look into upgrading into pci-express?

If you're not going to overclock anything, I'd wait until half of the games actually use the bandwith that PCI-E gives.

That's a very personal question, it depends how much money you have set aside and how important having the latest up to date parts is to you. It also depends on how you want your system to perform. It'll probably be worth waiting until you're ready to completely update your system (well you basically have to completely update your system) for performance reasons.

I would upgrade now if my Extreme Edition was socket 775, I dont feel like ditching this processor

There's nothing wrong with agp ATM but in a few years if the speeds of the gpu increase enough, the bandwith wall may eventually be reached for agp. So if you're happy with what you have now there's no need to upgrade.
