Hi all, i was browsing the kit-tronics website and found some refurbished units at very tempting price, i don't know whether to jump on a refurbished or a brand new one. Anyone hav an experience with them?
I would like to stay under budget. Any advice are welcome

mine is a referb. It works just like an original and it is cheaper. I also got mine from Kit-tronics. And there customer support is Top Notch.

Referbs should be just as good as a new unit for something like this. Chances are they are units that were returned due to a leak, dead controler, or dead compressor. In any case the defective part would have been replaced or the leak fixed, so they should be as good as new.

yea exactly, lots of people install them incorectly and kink the tubing or break a weld, causing a leak. They actually have Mach2's with no gas for sale as well, so if you looking to use a chilly evap and charge with r404 then this would be a great option.

If you feel uncomfortable give Kitronics a call and talk with Greer, he will explain everything and answer any and all questions you may have.

Use whichever you like. They both are well designed heads. I like how the chilly heads come with all the hardware for amd, intel and even for gpus. But I'm not familar with the pcice mounting hardware...thou it may be possible to interchange the mounting hardware
