i have a viakt400a motherboard with realtek ac97 audio intergrated sound,im thinking of buying some pc 150 headphones,will they be ok on my rig,

They'll be ok. You'd be better of spending some ching$$ on a better stereo sound card aswell. Maybe $20 US for a new sound card. AC97 audio isnt the greatest lol.
