What video software do I need?

I want to make small clips of divx movies so I can put them up on my website.
What to use? Thanks in advance :)

Well you need either a fully registered (or free trial) of DivX 5 or get Gknot to do all of the editing and composition needed.

Ok I'll look into those options.In the meantime I wound up using windows movie maker 2 to make the clips and edit them.The results were good.
BTW thanks for answering my question winterhavok.This thread is like a week old and no one else helped me out so Kudos for you :)
