Any one use these?
How much cooler does it keep your RAM?

There was a review done on a webpage that isn't up any more showing that they do, in fact, give you some benefit. Didn't measure it by temps, more by overclockability. :)(

Well I bought some for my old SDRAM rig. I put double sided spreader on my 256Mb Crucial PC150 2-2-2 and single spreader on the 128Mb version of the same make. Both still got very hot but allowed another 2-3Mhz improvement. When you put the actual sinks onto the spreaders (if you have the space for them) you see major differences. I now have 2x256Mb Crucial 2100 DDR sticks that get very hot. The can handle 150FSB at CAS3 rock solid, but at CAS2 it takes less than 5 minutes to become unstable. Im sure that If I bought more Tt Heatspreaders, I could get it running 150FSB @ CAS2.
Basically, unless you have a serious need to reach high fsb then dont bother. The heatsinks are more effective on RAM that gets hot which are normally the brands good for overclocking.
Putting them on generic sticks wouldnt do much.

I have the same Epox 8K7A mb but with a single 256MB Crucial PC2100 module and its stable at 166 Mhz using 8-8-7-2-2-2-2 timings and 177 Mhz using 8-8-8-3-7-2.5-2 timings. I use 148 Mhz to keep my PCI devices happy.
You FSB may be limited because:
- Using 2 sticks instead of 1 hurts your ability to overclock memory (as some have suggested)
-your memory is marginal in quality
-you aren't using the correct memory settings in the BIOS
-Some PCI device might not like the higher PCI bus speed?

i have them on my DDR sticks and i don't really think they're worth the money...they look nice and all (except the clip) but to me it doesn't justifying spending the $$ for that...and i used the ramsinks on my GF2 and it looks much nicer =) (but i wouldn't recommend buying them unless you have money to blow)
