Is this going to be a good card? In the past alll the All-In-Wonders have crapped out.
what do mean by crapped out? i ran(and still do in another box) and AIW 128 pro, and i never had any problem with it. sure...rage 128 wasnt the hottest of graphics, but it did what it was suppose to do. i also never had any driver issues(as many say they had).
personally, i think the AIW 8500DV will be one sweet card to own......im to poor to afford one:(

Well the older models of the all in wonder were better, i heard the Radeon All In Wonder sucked. So i was just hoping the new one would be better

Just out of curiousity, where did you hear that about the Radeon AIW? I personally have heard nothing or very little negative about that card.
From what I hear, those who are really into multi-media have no complaints when it comes to the AIW.
I expect the AIW 8500 or whatever they call it to perform about as well as the 8500 with more features.

Yeah where did you here the AIW radeon card sucked, back your talk up with proof. True the card may have been slightly slower than other leading edge strictly 3d gaming cards however for its purpose there is nothing that can match multimedia performance.
The Radeon AIW 8500 will truly rock, if they leave it the same as the Radeon 8500 and just add on the multimedia features I would buy one soon as I can afford. But as Quizno mentioned earlier it is/will be too pricey for me. I am truly happy with my radeon 64 DDR vivo.
BTW Quizno I returned mine to Futureshop and got a SE card , cool..... How is the fan mod coming along??
Long live the radeon family

My friend has the pro 128, awesome features card. Can even play some 3d games at 40 fps. Not bad considering it wasn't touted as a 3d card.
I love my AIW Radeon and wouldnt trade it for another card (except the AIW 8500). I have all the Multimedia goodies plus great graphics and gaming. I had never heard that the AIW Radeon is slower than the regular Radion as Cisco stated in another thread, but I am hitting 4009 3d marks, and I think thats pretty darn good, at least good enough for me.
I have 2 AIW 128 Pros and an AIW Radeon, no complaints from me at all.
The AIW 8500 looks great.

Yes I will probably be picking one of the new AIW Radeon 8500, unless nivida is going to have a better card out soon.

The AIW does have slower mem and clock speed than regular Radeon
The AIW version of the Radeon isn't exactly the same as the Radeon reviewed by Tom a few weeks back as this board is only 32MBs of 6ns memory and is clocked at a slightly slower (166MHz core and 333MHz memory).

My 64 Radeon DDR vivo has 5ns ram at 198 core..... Just thought you would be interested. It is an awesome multimedia an OKAY 3D gaming card but there are faster if you are looking...
