Locking But still workjing

Hi,
I have a laptop in ma bedroom that contains sum pretty private data. I dnld stuf on shareaza (LEGALLY) and they are big files so i elave my lappytoppy on during the day. Is there any way i can "lock" or prevent access but still have shareaza downloading. I have tried windows key + l but it stops dnlding

that shouldn't stop the downloading or your PC from working. that's very strange.

what about a screensaver password?
